Team Housing Solutions is a leader in developing innovative solutions to address the challenges of housing affordability and stability. Our dedicated Housing Solutions team develops proof-of-concept programs in strategic markets.
Through a Naval Sea Systems Command IDIQ contract, THS has provided long-term lodging services for aircraft carrier maintenance crews, seasonal firefighters, and agency detailers on temporary assignment.

With offices in 20 countries, Team Housing Solutions is a global provider of corporate housing and hotel accommodations. Their services include lodging logistics, property management, and turnkey housing. They offer a one stop-shop for relocating international employees and their families. They have a wide range of hotel accommodation options for short stay and long stays, as well as fully furnished serviced apartments that provide all the conveniences of home.
The company offers a variety of long-term rentals through past federal prime contract awards, including a $9.5 million Naval Sea Systems Command IDIQ award that provides housing for shipyard workers involved in aircraft carrier maintenance and seasonal agency detailers on temporary assignment. Other awards have provided temporary housing for Navy sailors completing their training and shipyard staff working on the USS Abraham Lincoln, USS Enterprise, and USS Nimitz aircraft carrier programs.
The company also manages traditional multifamily properties, turning them into full turnkey permanent accommodations with a level of hospitality and customer service similar to hotels. They have the experience and the resources to provide these homes, as well as a large network of contractors and support staff to make sure they can meet the needs of relocating families.
Short-Term Rentals
If you’re a federal employee on temporary assignment, Team Housing Solutions can provide you with fully furnished short-term rental housing. The company has received federal prime contract awards to house Navy personnel involved in vessel maintenance, fire service personnel on seasonal assignments and agency detailers.
The service offers both hosted partial home short-term rentals and unhosted owner-occupied homes. Hosted rentals are when homeowners rent a portion of their home, such as an extra bedroom or accessory dwelling unit. Unhosted rentals are when homeowners use their own home primarily or exclusively as short-term rentals. New York City’s Local Law 18 (which went into effect in January 2023) will significantly limit availability of unhosted rentals as it requires hosts to be present at the property.
When searching for a short-term rental, be sure to read reviews and size up photos. Look for listings that include a detailed description of the space, floor plan and price.
Long-Term Rentals
Through previous federal prime contract awards, Team Housing Solutions has provided long-term rental accommodations, including furnished apartments and hotel rooms. The most recent award from Naval Sea Systems Command includes task orders for lodging Navy personnel involved in aircraft carrier maintenance, seasonal firefighters, and agency detailers on temporary assignment. Corporate Housing
Team Housing Solutions offers corporate housing accommodations to individuals and groups on government assignments. The company’s lodging services include furnished apartments and hotel rooms. It also provides temporary relocation and storage solutions. The company has past federal prime contract awards with the Department of Navy, Department of Agriculture Forest Service, and the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Her team collaborates with partners across traditional and nontraditional markets to implement test-and-learn programs within targeted market areas, which can then be scaled nationally. The Lab’s guiding philosophy is to focus on results and build a platform for continuous learning through collaboration.
Co-Ownership
We offer a Co-Ownership scheme to help customers with the affordability of buying their own property. This is a government scheme that allows you to buy and rent a part of the house now and pay the rest later when your income improves. For more information you can discuss this with your interviewer or your housing solutions specialist.
Through past federal prime contract awards, Team Housing Solutions has provided long-term and short-term lodging services to agencies such as the Navy’s CVN aircraft carrier program and Department of the Interior Forest Service seasonal firefighters. This single award IDIQ contract has issued task orders ranging from $0 to $9 million to provide temporary accommodations to naval personnel involved in maintenance and overhaul work on air carriers homeported at San Diego, Bremerton, and Puget Sound.
We also have a Housing Solutions Collaborative, a national partnership that convenes local government practitioners and housing advocates from across the country to share their expertise and experiences. The collaboration has been working to identify and develop housing strategies for vulnerable populations, including those experiencing homelessness.
Sheltered/Independent Living
Sheltered accommodation (sometimes known as warden-assisted housing or retirement living) is a form of affordable, purpose-built accommodation for older people. It usually consists of blocks of flats or grouped bungalows, with on-site Scheme Managers – often referred to as Wardens – who offer support and advice to tenants and their families. These schemes are ideal for those who cannot live fully independently but do not require the full range of services offered by a nursing home or assisted living home.
When you move into sheltered accommodation, you become a council tenant of your own self-contained apartment or room. Your visitors can come and go as you please, with the added benefit of a staffed front door and careline alarm systems in case of emergencies. On-site Scheme Managers also carry out daily checks to make sure you’re well and to help with any day-to-day tasks such as reporting repairs.
These communities can be very popular and are typically situated close to amenities and public transport routes. Many sheltered housing schemes also arrange group activities, social events and communal facilities to promote social interaction amongst residents.
If you need more care and support than sheltered accommodation can offer, you might prefer extra-care housing, or even a care home. You may be able to rent or buy extra-care housing from local councils, housing associations, charities or private companies. You can choose how much support you want, and it can be increased if your needs change. If you’re considering this option, it’s a good idea to get a free care needs assessment. This will look at your current and future care needs to see how suitable a sheltered or independent living property might be for you.
Housing Accommodation for Over 55’s
Team Housing Solutions, a Florida-based company that solves the lodging needs of federal government personnel, recently received two prime contract awards totaling more than $9.5 million to provide furnished apartments to Navy shipyard employees involved in vessel maintenance and seasonal firefighting duties. These federal contracts are in addition to the $5.7 million award the company received last year to provide temporary housing accommodations for naval sea systems command employees.
The company also provides housing accommodation for over 55’s, a type of location designed to accommodate people who are at least 55 years old. These locations often have stipulations that restrict who can live there and may offer amenities such as swimming pools and tennis or pickleball courts. These communities can be ideal for people who want to remain active without the responsibilities of raising children.
Many of these communities also offer renting options for those who do not want to commit to a home purchase. These renting communities are a great option for individuals who want to have all of the benefits that come with living in a retirement community.
